In my conscious memory, I cannot harvest one time where I've ever bid adieu to a year without regrets. Tonight as we let go of what was and look forward to what shall be, I let go with no regrets.
As a matter of fact, I lovingly enclose all 366 days of 2012 in a warm departing embrace. Thankful for the privilege to see the end of this hour, yet not counting it as an end, but rather a launching pad into what the next 365 hold.
I will not bore you fine reader with a tedious recounting of all that has shaped these last 52 weeks, for many of you have been along for the written recounting of the journey all year.
I will however very briefly highlight the two biggest changes in my life this year, that will play even larger roles in shaping my 2013:
1) I made a change in churches that has emphatically boosted my spiritual growth and has opened up the proverbial spiritual fire hose from which I'm currently drinking as quickly and as deeply as I can. More to come (in the following months) on the things that have been planted in my spirit.
I look forward to the days ahead and with appreciation catalog the memories of 2012 and with no regrets extend a hand of welcome to 2013.
