Born three weeks late in the heat of the summer, I've been making waves and causing a stir ever since. After graduating from Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training, I moved to Texas, where I worked for then Governor George W. Bush's office.

A year after joining the Governor's office, I joined President George W. Bush's historical 2000 Presidential campaign and then went on to spend three years working for his administration in D.C. After thee and a half years in D.C., I returned to Texas where I now reside and work for a global management consulting firm.

I'm a midpack triathlete who drives way too fast, appreciates a good nap, finds my sanity in creative writing (thus this blog) and spend my freetime serving my church and my sorority and training for triathalons with my tri training group.

I prefer the suburbs to the city, paper over plastic and Journey was my favorite band as a kid. I've been to Vegas twice, but can't tell you what happened, because of that whole "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" thing. I can often be found speeding in my car up North Texas' 121 toll road singing at the top of my lungs disregarding all traffic around me.
