Born three weeks late in the heat of the summer, I've been making waves and causing a stir ever since. After graduating from Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training, I moved to Texas, where I worked for then Governor George W. Bush's office.

A year after joining the Governor's office, I joined President George W. Bush's historical 2000 Presidential campaign and then went on to spend three years working for his administration in D.C. After thee and a half years in D.C., I returned to Texas where I now reside and work for one of the top 10 accounting firms in the DFW metroplex

I'm a midpack 1/2 marathoner who drives too fast, appreciates a good nap, finds my sanity in creative writing (thus this blog) and spend my freetime serving my church and my sorority and training for my first triathalon this year (2012) with my running group. Hmmmmm maybe I'll create a blog about that undertaking...

I prefer the suburbs to the city, paper over plastic and Journey was my favorite band as a kid. I've been to Vegas once, but can't tell you what happened, because of that whole "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" thing. I can often be found speeding in my car up North Texas' 121 toll road singing at the top of my lungs disregarding all traffic around me.
